There's a certain novelty to skiing at Rhode Island's only alpine ski area. When the land is barren and brown in the rest of the state, Yawgoo is an island of white. This place is best for learning to ski, with a vertical drop of 245 feet and 12 trails with terrain
primarily
for beginner and intermediate skiers.
There is one challenging slope called TNT, which can be a great rush for the beginner-intermediate. This place is especially fun for night skiing, and has a nice upstairs lounge to retreat to when you need a break. |
